How to book a photoshoot

Smiler’s community of professional photographers have selected a range of must-see locations in their cities. You can browse these locations through our website and book a professional photoshoot to make the most of your visit and capture the memory. Simply select your desired location, a date and time that works for you, and the amount of photos and time you would like to spend with your photographer.

What happens after booking

After you book your photoshoot, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details of your booking, including your selected time, date and meeting point. It also contains a QR code for your photographer. On the day of your shoot, please bring this email with you and meet your photographer at the listed location and time.

How to request a specific photographer

If you would like to request a specific photographer, we can see if they are available for the date and time you have selected. After you have made your booking, please send us an email to help@smiler.co with the name of your photographer. If your preferred photographer is not available, we will make sure you are matched with one of the many other talented members of our photographer community.

On the day of the photoshoot

I am running late. What do I do?

Please make sure to be on time to meet your photographer at the agreed booking time and meeting location. If you are running late, please contact our booking support team as soon as you can on +31 20 808 8522.

If our photographer is unable to locate or contact you within 15 minutes of your booked photoshoot time, your booking will be considered a No-show and therefore not eligible for a refund.

I can't find the photographer. What do I do?

Can’t find your photographer? They’re probably looking for you too! Call our bookings support team on +31 20 808 8522 and we will help you find each other.

If our photographer is unable to locate or contact you within 15 minutes of your booked photoshoot time, your booking will be considered a No-show and therefore not eligible for a refund.

Rescheduling a booking

Need to find a new time? You can reschedule your photoshoot up to 24 hours before your booked time. Please note moving your shoot after this time will count as a cancellation and will not be eligible for refund.
To reschedule your photoshoot, please contact as soon as possible via help@smiler.co.

We understand plans can change. Cancel your photoshoot up to 24 hours advance of your booked time for a full refund. To cancel a booking go to My Booking via the confirmation email that you received after you finished your booking. Can't find the email? Contact us via help@smiler.co.

If you miss or do not turn up for your photoshoot at the agreed time, Smiler will be forced to cancel your booking. To respect the time and hard work of our photographer who has come to meet you, no-shows are not eligible for refund.

Your photoshoot will occur regardless of the weather – cloudy weather often makes for more even lighting! Keep an eye on the weather forecast if you would like to reschedule your booking for free up to 24 hours before your booked time.

Smiler cancelled my booking

In some circumstances, it may be necessary for Smiler to cancel your shoot. We will do everything in our power to avoid this, but sometimes this unfortunate situation can’t be avoided. If we are forced to cancel your shoot, we will contact you as soon as possible to find an alternative time or offer you a full refund.

After the photoshoot

How will I receive my photos?

After editing your photos, your photographer will send you them via your own private link. This link is delivered to you via SMS and/or email and allows you to browse and download your high-quality photos to your phone or computer.

When will I receive my photos?

Smiler photographers take special care to have you looking your best on location and afterwards through some light but natural editing. It may take up to 48 hours for your photographer to finish editing and upload your photos.

If it has been longer than 48 hours and you have not received your photos, please contact us at help@smiler.co so we can make sure we have your correct contact details.

I am not satisfied with my photos

If you are not satisfied with your photos, please let us know at help@smiler.co. We will work with you and your photographer to find a solution that leaves a smile on your face.
